Die vry-aan-boord-prys vir Junie 2024 was R45,48 p/kg. Dit verteenwoordig ‘n afname van 7% in prys per kg as dit vergelyk word met Junie 2024. Die meeste invoere was van Namibië met 328 ton.
Lewendige speenkalf-invoere het 25 043 eenhede in Junie 2024 beloop, wat ‘n afname van 5% is as dit met Junie 2023 vergelyk word. Die prys was R6 921,21 per eenheid, wat 7% hoër is as tydens Junie 2023.
Skaapvleisinvoere vir Junie 2024 het 650 ton beloop. Dit verteenwoordig ‘n styging van 180% as dit vergelyk word met Junie 2023. Die vry-aan-boord-prys was R30,25 p/kg, wat 17% laer is as die Junie 2023-prys. Die meeste invoere was afkomstig van Australië (370 ton).

The free-on-board price for June 2024 was R45.48 p/kg. This represents a decrease of 7% in price per kg if compared to June 2024. The major imports originated from Namibia with 328 tons.
Live weaner imports for June 2024 amounted to 25 043 units, which is a decrease of 5% if compared to June 2023. The price was R6 921.21 per unit, which is 7% higher than June 2023.
Sheep meat imports for June 2024 amounted to 650 tons. This represents an increase of 180% if compared to June 2023. The free-on-board price was R30.25 p/kg, which is 17% lower than the June 2023 price. The major imports originated from Australia (370 tons).
Live sheep imports for June 2024 amounted to 75 252 units. This represents an increase of 4% if compared to June 2023.The price was R1 150.20 per unit, which is 6% lower than the June 2023 price per kilogram. Namibia was the major exporter to South Africa with 75 151 units.
